Getting started!

WAY too long.

I honestly don't know where to start!  I have been SO slack!  School has been INSANE to say the least!  I guess it's true that they use the second semester of pre-reqs to weed out all the people who aren't going to make it anyways.  So my life has been all school basically.  Between physiology & my biochem/organic chem class, i barely have time to do my other work!  But I really wanted to get back to blogging.  So there isn't much new news on the house.  But we do have a sink now.  That I am in love with!  (: I'll post a pic at the bottom of this post.  Also one of my best friends are getting married!!  Sept. 29, so that's exciting!  We went and got bridesmaid dresses last weekend!  Anyhow, I'm going to try to update more.  Less than a month of school left for me so there will be lots of time to update this summer.  Missed Y'all!

a little of this and a little of that...

Hey everyone!  Happy Monday!  Well as happy as it can be.  No matter how rough they are, you're one day closer to the weekend when they are over!  I have literally been going all day! I'm talking up since 5 AM and a Physiology test at 8, whew.  Glad it's behind me now!  So today is kinda a mash up of a few things.  


First off, HOUSE UPDATE! Haha.  Those words make me so happy!  Anyways, we went over the floor plan last night again.  (Which I am still completely in love with!)  While talking we decided to add a few things and switch some things up.  We are adding a sun room on to the back of the house, we're thinking to either use it as a den or a breakfast room.  And we're adding an additional master suite, so that brings the room total to 4Br 3Ba.  (:  We also added on to the main master bedroom closet (YAY!).  I am all about some closet space!  And we rearranged how the kitchen will be set up.  So that is what's new there.  Will try to get a pic of the plan this weekend when I go home.  Hoping to get rolling soon.  


Secondly, I am just in a major hair slump.  I have been growing my hair out FOREVER now.  Well. Not really, but I'm growing it out from a stack so it feels like forever.  Anyhow, it is just now past my shoulders and partially down my back so I can do something with it now.  What's the slump about this?  I have no idea what to do with it other than straighten, curl, or out it up.  I need inspiration.  So if anyone has some, comment and let me know!  


Third, kinda goes along with #2, but does anyone have any miracle hair/nail growth secrets they'd like to share?


Anyways, that was just some thoughts from today.  I have to force myself to study some Organic Chemistry now... Woo! Haha but seriously that stuff is hard. :/  Happy Monday everyone!

Thursday!

   Okay, so Thursday's are not always the greatest.  But I use them as my catch up day.  Tomorrow is Friday which means after 11:20, no school and relaxing.  Except for Saturday, which I have to spend cleaning my car and studying physiology.  Blah.  Oh well, still better than being an hour and a half away from my family and Trad AND having to study!  Anyways.. I walked 2.6 miles Tuesday in less than an hour.  which sadly, is an accomplishment.  Definitely still working on my time and my running ability!  There is no new news on the house as of now, but that's ok. (:  Basically, I'm using today as my catch up day and get stuff done so I can relax day!  Wanted to give you guys an update before I went out to do my walk/jog for today!  Have a great Thursday and be sure to come back tomorrow for High 5 for Friday!!

Slacker...

     I feel SO bad that I've been so slack posting lately.  My life has been insane to put it lightly.  But things are going to start looking up, they HAVE to.  & more posting will start happening!  But, speaking of slacker.  I'm JUST NOW starting on some new years resolutions.  1) eat healthier. 2) get in shape.  3) get organized.  4) get that 4.0 this semester. (Missing it by thissss much sucked last semester.)  Anyways I know those are nothing major.  Just some personal goals.  What are you guys working on for the new year?  Comment and let me know!

House Update!!

A Few New Things....

     Things have been super busy this weekend!  I have been enjoying time off from school with my family and Trad so I'm sorry I haven't posted but I'm sure y'all understand. (Did I mention earlier that I live in the south?)  But I was able to make it by where the house is going to be!  And I took our before picture finally. (: 

The house front will be seen from this view eventually. 

     Trad and I  also have gotten the shower for the house.  A little out of order, I know.  But when you find an awesome deal.  How do you argue?

So... lets go!

1.

Happy to be getting back in the swing of a normal routine.  Even if that means classes are starting and studying has to start happening.

I know I already posted about the flowers... But they were definitely one of my favorite parts of this week.

The little girl of a family friend has taken up the idea of being a mini-me.  Very flattering and funny.  Cracks me up every time she picks my bag up and says "It's heavy Megan!"

My spoiled puppy always makes me happy....

I have been LOVING my first pair of Converse shoes!  I'm a bit of a shoe freak anyways.  But these are amazing!
